With a high gain of 33dBi, our RF-DP-D4865-33X model is a small, high-performance 5GHz MIMO parabolic antenna that may be used for outdoor long-distance point-to-point (PTP) signal transmission to address the issue of long-distance signal reception or transmission. RFLINK employs a novel design that keeps high gain and good performance while making the antenna smaller than many other antennas available on the market. The antenna operates well in the 4800–6500 MHz frequency range and has a broad frequency band.  The ±45° polarization mode that this antenna employs guarantees steady signal transmission with little loss.

Our dish antenna, which has two 40cm low loss jumper cables and a pure copper SMA connector, is of high quality and is preferred by customers. With regard to installation details, RFLINK has given more humanistic consideration to parts, which speeds up and simplifies installation and enhances user experience.

Dish antennas are widely used in various fields due to their high gain and directional capabilities. Some common application areas include:

  • Satellite Communication – Used for receiving and transmitting signals to and from satellites for television broadcasting, internet services, and telecommunication.

  • Radio Astronomy – Used in observatories to detect radio signals from space for scientific research.

  • Radar Systems – Utilized in military, weather forecasting, and air traffic control for detecting and tracking objects.

  • Direct-To-Home (DTH) Broadcasting – Used for satellite TV reception in homes and businesses.

  • Deep Space Communication – Employed in space research to communicate with spacecraft and rovers on other planets.

  • Wireless and Microwave Communication – Used in point-to-point communication links and microwave relay stations.

  • GPS and Navigation Systems – Helps in enhancing the accuracy and performance of global positioning systems.

  • Defense and Military Applications – Used for secure communication, surveillance, and missile guidance systems.

  • Remote Sensing – Used in earth observation satellites for collecting environmental and geographical data.

  • Amateur Radio (HAM Radio) – Used by radio enthusiasts for long-distance communication via satellites.

FAQs for dish antennas:

1. What is a dish antenna?

A dish antenna is a parabolic reflector used to receive or transmit signals, commonly used in satellite communication and broadcasting.

2. How does a dish antenna work?

It focuses incoming signals onto a feed horn, which then converts them into electrical signals for processing.

3.What are the main applications of a dish antenna?

They are used in satellite TV, radar systems, space communication, radio astronomy, and wireless networking.

4.What factors affect dish antenna performance?

Size, alignment, signal frequency, and obstructions like trees or buildings can impact performance.

5.How do I align a dish antenna?

Align it toward the satellite’s position using azimuth and elevation adjustments for the best signal reception.
